In the above list, I’ve tried to offer you the most popular examples of wedding songs for the first dance. These are just some suggestions you can cater for but also, if you have a favorite melody which has a meaning for you, no matter how funny, slow or weird it is, dare to play that song when you and your groom will do the bridal dance.

There are also other two parts of a wedding party as important as first dance and I am referring to mother and son dance but also to father and daughter dance. For these two moments, you also must create a list with examples of wedding songs but a more elaborated one.
Both of these moments are emotionally charged especially because now all the guests focus their attention on the relationship between parents and child. You must pay lot of attention when choosing the song for these moments. The chosen melody must speak volumes about the relationship between you and your father and between the groom and his mother. In these situation, you as bride have the responsibility of paying attention in choosing the song. The same responsibility must be accomplished by the groom.

As for me, the songs for these moments can reflect the relationship between you and your parents but also you can choose a song that reminds you of your childhood, or a song that you know your parents simply adore it. If your parents are funniest type, then dare to choose a naughty cheerful song but if they are more romantic, then a slow song with sweet lyrics it’s ideal. Songs for mother and groom dance and for father and daughter dance must emphasize these moments, must reflect your relationship and also they must create a specific ambiance, a funniest one or a romantic overwhelming one. A good idea it’s to dedicate to your parents a beautiful songs. This is also a nice manner to thank them for growing you, for supporting you and for helping you in unconditional manners.
