The same has to happen with the music that you play at your wedding’s ceremony and reception; it has to leave a memorable print in the minds of your guests, to make them keep the memory of your wedding as a favored one that has touched their souls and made their day. Finding wedding songs for both your ceremony and reception is a task that takes time and if you don’t want to find yourself lost in the immensity of the songs available in the field of music, you’d better think of hiring a DJ to help you with the songs.
You know how hard can be to perform this entire thing by yourself. Just have a moment and picture this: imagine yourself opening a site that lists options for, let’s say, wedding reception. Here you will meet not only one choice for “first dance song”, but tens of the choices. And you will start playing the song together with the lyrics and consider that it is appropriate, but you say to yourself, why not give it a shot with the next one, and again you will find the second one quite adequate to express your feeling. And you start thinking: OK, so we pick up this one,… but your eyes fall on the song that you have danced to with each other at your first date and you decide that definitely this must the one.
And the same story can repeat with the other moments of the wedding that need to be filled with music. In this case what is there to be done, if not hiring a person who can give advice, show you samples (which he has already gotten them, compared to you who will have to run a selection and only after that to decide which the winner is). Just consider the fact that for the ceremony there are at least five important moments to be marked by the presence of music (music for interlude, prelude, processional, recessional and unity candle songs), not to mention the next event of a wedding introduced by the reception that is primarily musical. Finding wedding songs for the reception party involves a lot of work of auditioning, comparing, selecting and definitely the help of a DJ will make your work much easier and nicer to be carried out.
