First Dance Songs

This article is supposed to be about the first dance. First dance are such simple words which defines one of the most special moments in your life. The first dance is a special moment in your life because it’s once in your lifetime. (In fact, I hope it will be an unique moment, because there are lots of women who had the first dance even more than three time in their lives, well, love is hard to gain and hard to maintain; but I don’t want to upset you with negative thoughts).

So, as I wrote, the first dance is an unique moment and is very precious because, after the big entrance, you must announce the first dance. I’m already imagining the Dj (the band or the event planner) announcing the guests to sit their places because the just married couple will have their first dance. This moment has a very romantic and profound meaning. Now, you dance as wife and husband. If till now you were partying with your man, having fun and celebrating each event as two different persons, the first dance will be the dance of a single “persons”, it will be the dance of two united destinies. The first dance must speak volumes about your relationship, about your love and desires, about your plans and also about future (but just an excerpt).

The first dance it’s not about past or future, but is about present, your present mood and emotions. In fact, the first dance is the manifestation of the newlyweds. You got out from ceremony walking on the aisle as husband and wife and now, through the first dance, you must show everybody your emotions, your dream became true, your desires and your plans. Yes, the first dance involves lots of emotions and your pure love. Even that you maybe have in mind some steps for the first dance, let me assure you that your thoughts doesn’t play neither the smallest role in the first dance. On the contrary, almost involuntary, you’ll dance like wrapped in love. Love will be that one which will guide your steps. Your guests don’t want to see a certain choreography, they want to surprise your emotions and your pure joy.

That’s the reason for why you must choose a first dance song. Here are my suggestions of first dance song:  “Forever Mine” performed by The O’Jays, “From Here To Eternity” performed by Michael Peterson, “From This Moment On” performed by Shania Twain, “Have I Told You Lately” performed by Van Morrison or Rod Stewart,  “How Sweet It Is (To Be Loved By You)” performed by James Taylor, “I Could Not Ask For More” performed by Edwin McCain, “I Cross My Heart” performed by George Strait,  “I Do (Cherish You)” performed by 98 Degrees, “I Don’t Want To Miss A Thing” performed by Aerosmith, “I Finally Found Someone” performed by Bryan Adams & Barbara Streisand,  “I Knew I Loved You” performed by Savage Garden, “I Love The Way You Love Me” performed by John Michael Montgomery and “I Melt” performed by Rascal Flatts.
