Fun Wedding Songs

When we hear about weddings we instantly assume that they are fun. I mean if a wedding is not fun, it's hardly a wedding anymore, right? But if we would like to spicy it up a little more the best way for that is by music. Music is known to free the spirit and to set the tone, not just in the case of weddings but in every aspect of life, wherever music is involved. We know for a fact that slow, gloomy music will most certainly set a melancholy feeling and fast, jumpy one will probably start a party.

And since we are talking about weddings we definitely would like to have the latter one, don't we? So fun wedding songs will surely start a great party and will ensure that everybody will have a good time.

Now of course it depends on individuals what is considered  fun, or what is considered a fun wedding song. We can have a  rather traditional wedding with a big band, music without lyrics and  that can be fun too. Or we can have a party-like wedding, with different  themes and with contemporary music. We can have pop or disco, r'n'b, rock'n'roll, you name it.

Nowadays weddings are more than just a ceremonial gathering, they are more glamorous, they are a grand celebration and people seem not to care when it comes about delivering and giving the most they got for celebrating their union with their chosen one.<

And what better way is there to celebrate than dancing? If you want to slowly induce the party-like tone, you should probably start with something calmer and slowly turn up the volume, keep the party gradual. Also it is very annoying if loud music plays when for example people are serving dinner, or a toast is being held. So make sure that these kind of things don't collide. Keep the loud and bouncy music for later, when everybody is up and in a good mood, ready to party all night.

Experience says you can have fun dancing if you know the song you are dancing to. It is a lot easier to get up and get moving if you know the song and, of course, if you like it. So at major gatherings, like weddings, where are a lot of people who expect to be entertained, you probably should choose music that is widely known. That's why you can never fail with popular pop songs, because they will be commonly known by the majority of the guests.

Of course you would have to consider you will have all kinds of guests, with different ages and different tastes. So in a good wedding songs list you should have a large number of mixes made. If you are indecisive you can ask a "professional" or someone you just know has good taste and better knowledge when it comes to partying.

All in all, you should pay attention to the music you will have at your wedding but you shouldn't obsess over it too much. When people go to weddings they already go with a certain amount of excitement, so no matter what kind of music there will be they will surly find a way to dance to it.

I like your idea of starting off with some smooth music at the beginning, something really soft until everyone gets a chance to eat at their tables, drink a glass of wine and get better acquainted. Then the band could play something more lively that really gets people off their chairs and onto the dance floor because, as you said, going to a wedding should be all about having fun. In the end, I would also go for something more calm and soothing because people are tired and are already thinking of going home. What do you think? Lovely website by the way!
