Great Wedding Songs

Songs in the celebration of a wedding are the ones that beside the fact that they entertain the atmosphere of joy and festivity, they can also be very descriptive for the events that take part inside a wedding unfolding. For the traditional weddings the general feature is that they are structured in two parts: the wedding ceremony and the wedding reception. The first one normally takes place in a place of worship where the couple and their guests attend the religious service that is meant to seal the joining in an everlasting and holy matrimony. In here the sequence of events takes place in an overwhelming displaying of music with great wedding songs to emphasize both religiously and emotionally the unfolding of the acts.

So, the order of these events evolves in this manner: the groom and the priest are coming from one side of the church and take their place next to the altar, next the mothers of both the bride and the groom are introduced and guided to their seats, after that the bridesmaids accompanied by the groomsmen walk down the aisle for eventually lead the way for the bride who enters holding her father’s arm while walking down the aisle to meet the man whom she has chosen to spend the rest of her life with.

The priest’s service follows with the exchanging of vows and wedding rings finalized with the priest’s pronunciation of husband and wife when the groom is allowed to kiss his bride.  The lighting of the Unity Candle by both the mothers and the married couple is the act that forgoes the recessional, the moment when bride and groom exit the place of the worship to meet outside their guests who welcome them as newly weds. All these displaying of important events in the frames of the ceremonial is made on the background of music that includes songs to describe the divine blessing contained in the place of worship.

The songs choices for the musical ambient in the context of a religious ceremony are usually selected by the minister’s musical assistant and in this regard you don’t have to put too much effort, but there can be situations when the wedding couple decide to have their own wedding songs performed therefore the selected ones have to be object of agreement on behalf of the minister. The second part of the wedding’s structure, the reception party, is the one to contain choices of great wedding songs that are selected either by the wedding couple or by the hired wedding DJ.

These songs are the ones to accompany the sequence of events unfolded in the atmosphere of entertainment developed in the program of a jolly party. And the order of these events is as it follows: the families of both bride and groom make their entrance in the reception hall where the guests are waiting for the reception to begin, then the bridal party enters to lead the way for the bride and groom who step in in the moment called “big entrance”. After these events end then the dancing part is performed by father and daughter, mother and son and lastly the bride and groom.

The party then begins in a celebration of music, drinking, eating and dancing to the songs specially played to entertain in a high spirited note the people present at the wedding event. The last event of the wedding celebration is performed also on the sound of music, with a song to represent the cake cutting, the symbolic gesture of a couple joined together in a life of commitment and sharing.
