The wedding music is not just the entrainment part of this event, but it comes as a completion to various episodes.
There are some key moments that without music get to be of a simplistic presentation, too boring just to watch it so. Or, there are moments when music is indispensable and part of the wedding program, so like at the first dance of the grooms, the time which opens the entire reception party.
Considering that in its majority part is for entertainment part, for everyone to dance then just for the background, with what you have to prepare and how many songs are you suppose to have for a wedding? First of all, consider that as much as guests on categories of age you have present at your wedding as much types, style of music you should gather. Don’t focus just on one type as not only at a time everyone gets bored, sick and tiered of it, but it has no surprise element. Diversity and also mixtures and periodic changes of style have to be your reliable points.
Now strictly and concretely referring to how many songs are you suppose to have for a wedding analyze the situation by the fact that it is a party and not a short time gathering. But judging according to the need of the music you have to select one for the marching time, the bridal entrance at the church, one for the grooms’ first dance at the reception, one for the cake time, for tossing the bouquet and the rest of it of all kinds for dancing, for all guests’ tastes. If it is to estimate a number it can be more than 150. But count from the perspective that you need separated songs for the situations above mentioned.
Numbers are relative but consider the idea of as much as you have as better. The DJ you hire has to adapt to the guests likes and when seeing that a specific type of music is appreciated and everybody dances to keep with this path. So, more of the same kind.
