Wedding celebrations are meant to be loaded with moments of emotions, fun and entertainment program that the guests should enjoy in order to feel the exact spirit of a wedding reception, the segment of a wedding which is planned to look like an elaborated party. The elements chosen to pertain to a wedding reception, be it celebrated outdoors or in the closed spaces of a restaurant room, resemble to those of a party celebration, except for the symbols that are introduced together with the presence of flowers, decorative items, wedding cake and last but not least, the presence of the newly weds who carry the symbol of their commitment to a life of love and sharing, commitment promised to each other in front of their wedding guests.

Well, these guests, because they have been willing to attend to your ceremony and your reception are entitled to expect la crème de la crème when it comes to the reception part. There are wedding couples who choose their reception to be staged in the elegant style of a sumptuous festivity with fancy dresses, fancy cocktails and elaborately cooked meals, other choose to plan their wedding party in the funny and casual tones of a larger and noisier party event. The same was the case with my friend's wedding celebration; she has planned to hire a karaoke machine in order to entertain the guests for her wedding party.

The wedding was supposed to be held outdoors, her parent's backyard lawn was a perfect place to improvise the stage and the ambient for the wedding reception. As to the floral decorations and the way of arranging the tables and the seats I have assisted my friend in drawing the sketches for the space to resemble the hall of a disco. Two days prior to the wedding party, a florist together with his team was hired to come and install the pillars to support the lights, the balloons and the floral arrangements.

But now with the selection of music I think of an act to perform together with the bridesmaids and in this regard I need a list of wedding songs to sing with on CD to have it ready for the celebration of the wedding party. I started first of all to browse the websites in the search of wedding songs that are most popular both for wedding celebrations and for people's musical tastes. My plan is to have these songs performed on the stage, first I will do one of the acts, then a bridesmaid followed by the other. In the end we have thought of playing something together and why not the favorite song of the bride?!

And since the only possible way for us to have the songs gathered in one place is to make a single CD I keep on looking for the wedding songs in the web sites that display these specific songs. As I need a list of wedding songs to sing with on CD, a list to include the bridesmaids' options as well, I call one of them and settle a meeting for the week end to discuss all the possibilities of including songs that will please different age groups; as I have previously understood from my friend she will have also her grannies attending to the wedding party. So the options for the karaoke show have to include various musical tastes for everybody to enjoy the evening and be left with unforgettable funny memories.
