Even though the wedding music is selected as to be part of the reception party as its main aim, the religious ceremony has its moments when background music may be an available fact. And the songs selected at this part of the wedding have to be of course special ones, in concordance as style, as rhythm and lyrics with the event.
First of all as part of the religious ceremony music is the bridal appearance time. It is well known the bridal march and the song “Here comes the bride” the majority select it. Apart from this moment, at the wedding readings time music can be as well an accompaniment as how it is for the exchange of rings and also love songs used for wedding vows.
Why shall this be the wedding plan? Indeed many blame the music over the priest words and claim that it is a way to disturb the attention from what is really important and the essence of the event. But after all the music doesn’t come with this aim plus that it is just a way to boost the emotions, to accentuate the unity and be the icing on the cake in what happens at the time. And if it is to consider that music is not necessary as it covers the prayers then think about non vocal ones. Another reference needed to be taken into account at the music for the religious ceremony is that it must be about something solemn, with drama accents, but love songs as to suggest the correlation with the event. Love songs used for wedding vows for example?
It may be about Richard Clayderman theme from “Love Story”, “Love of my life” by Darla Day, George Benson and Roberta Flack “You are the love of my life” or “Thankful for you” by Kenneth Michael Woods.
