Most Popular Wedding Songs

Music has always been the one to be present in the atmospheres of celebrating different events of people's life. Either it comes to birthday parties, to cocktail social events, or weddings, music is always there entertaining the guests and coloring the ambient in a spiritual way, freeing the mind and letting the bodies move in the rhythm of the tunes displayed. Due to its presence in wedding celebrations, people have started to give certain songs the status of most popular wedding songs. The tunes together with their lyrics have created some songs to become the most favored on the list of songs to be performed in the unfolding of such a happy and beautiful event in the life of young couples and not only the young ones.

Weddings happen generally to take place divided in two parts: the ceremony and the reception. The choices of the wedding songs to be played within the frames of a religious ceremonial are some kind of restrictive as long as the songs are the ones to belong to the classical tunes of Wagner, Pachelbel, Vivaldi, Mozart. But there are situations when these classical tunes are allowed to be replaced (under strict church's supervision) with contemporary choices of songs, some of them being: "From this moment" - Shania Twain, "Wedding day" - performed by Bee Gees, "All you need is love" - Beatles, "Me and you" - by Kenny Chesney.

The reception part of a wedding is the one that gives more choices in the selection of the most popular wedding songs, these ones being increased in number with every year, along with the releases of many hits on the famous musical charts. The reception which is generally organized as a party has in its displaying moments that are both emotional and joyful as well. The reception itself is in fact the event of a wedding that meets the bride and groom as wife and husband, therefore the tone of a reception is more loosen up, but also emotional. The latter one is revealed by the presence in the entertainment "program" by father and daughter dance when father of the bride dances with the bride to a song that is previously selected either by the bride or her father or both. Some songs that have been during the time most popular ones are: "Daddy's little girl" - by Al Martino, "Butterfly kisses" - Bob Carlisle, "My girl" -The Temptations.

The next touchy moment of the evening is reflected by the mother and son dance when mother of the groom says good-bye to her son and dance to songs that are selected from among: "Wind behind my wings" - Bette Midler, "The perfect fan" - performed by Backstreet Boys, "Through the years" - by Kenny Rogers. The first dance song is the one that normally sets the tone for the rest of the wedding party, and is the moment when husband and wife dance to a song that reflects their love, their commitment that they have just vowed for. Such songs are also picked up from a list to comprise: "Everything I do (I do it for you)" - by Brian Adams, "Unchained melody" - performed by Righteous Brothers, "Endless love" - Lionel Richie and Diana Ross, "L O V E" - by Nat King Cole.

These wedding songs have become popular not because they have been composed in order to be used in the displaying of a wedding celebration, but because through their lyrics and tunes reflect the perfect way of a couple to say "I love you and due to this love I commit myself to you".
