A piece of advice: while going through the list of choices one may take into account different aspects that intimately connected and strengthened the relation between the groom and the mother of the groom. The song which is to be chosen has to have a special meaning or it can bring back into memory the recollection of a special event that made the mother and son bond grew stronger.
As men do not normally like to plainly express their sentimental feelings toward their mother, it may be rather a difficult task for them to agree on a certain song that is sentimental to the mother, but he is too “macho” to take it into account!
So maybe these tough guys will want to find a song that is equally combined with elements of fun and sentiments, in this case mothers could feel a little awkward, but eventually everything will be sorted out in a satisfactory way for both!
There is a whole list of mother to son songs for wedding day starting from sentimental favorites ones to country classics ones. So according to mother and groom’s musical taste there are a lot of offers to be chosen among. Songs like “You’re the inspiration” – performed by Chicago, “Could I have this dance” – Anne Murray, “You are the sunshine of my life” – Stevie Wonder, “You raise me up” – Josh Groban, “Memories” – by Elvis Presley, that are to be selected from the sentimental songs and others from the country classics, such as: ”There you’ll be” – by Faith Hill, “The Baby” – performed by Blake Shelton, “Through the years” – Kenny Rogers and so on.
All that one has to keep in mind is the fact that mothers, either of the brides or grooms, love to have the possibility to show their life-time affection towards the children that from the moment of the wedding will part from their family and make their way into their own new family. So pay closer look to the choice of songs as during this Big Day everybody needs to be happy even if it comes to separation!
