My immensely pleasure to share with you my personal top 10
Few days ago, a friend of mine asked me to help her creating her personal wedding play-list. In one month, she’ll have the wedding and she’s quite in time-line with
wedding planning. I don’t know exactly why she asked me to help her in choosing great songs for her wedding party, but I have just two versions: she knows that I listen lots of musical genres and secondly she knows that I’m a critic personality and also I’m truly perfectionist and when I want a thing to go perfect than it will be as I desire. Well, I’m not a married woman, but for helping my best friend (and also for accomplishing the duty of bridesmaid), I already create the play-list for her wedding party. She’s totally accomplished with the result and I thought that she’s so enthusiastic about the music I’ve included in her wedding compilation, I should share with you some of my favorite melodies. I won’t write in this short article all my favorite melodies (because I’ll probably never end this article), but I’ll share with you my personal
top 10 wedding songs.
For sure I’ll use the same top at my wedding (when it will be, I’m not so hurried), but I must warn you that I’m
not quite into standards melodies like Celine Dion or Mariah Carey. I like secret melodies which you don’t listen at every radio or on the first post at TV. The melodies I like are like an exotic spicy for a special moment. So, here is my authentic
top 10 wedding songs (the problem is that all the melodies written below aren’t in a certain array from 1 to 10 or from 10 to 1, I love them in equal measure):
-
“Somewhere only we know” performed by Keane, is a song that I love very much because has a meaning for me and the lyrics are totally heart touching: “Oh, simple thing, where have you gone?/ I’m getting old and I need something to rely on/ So, tell me when you gonna let me in/ I’m getting tired and I need somewhere to begin/ And if you have a minute why don’t we go/ Talk about it somewhere only we know?/ This could be the end of everything./ So why don’t we go, so why don’t we go? Somewhere only we know”.

-
“Chasing cars” performed by Snow Patrol, is other melody that makes me dream about pure love, about brilliant future, about someone that
will be close to me in my urgent needs of passion, understand and love. Of course, the lyrics are also amazing (characteristic for Snow Patrol): “I don’t quite know/ How to say/ How I feel/ Those three words/ Are said too much/They’re not enough/If I lay here/ If I just lay here/ would you lie with me and just forget the world?/ Forget what we’re told/ Before we get too old/ Show me a garden that’s bursting into life”.

-
“Someone like you” performed by Blank and Jones. I like this song because is chill, is romantic, is about past and future: “I’ve been searching a long time/ For someone exactly like you/ I’ve been traveling all around the world/ Waiting for you to come through/ Someone like you/ Make it all worth while/ Someone like you/ Keep me satisfied./ Someone exactly like you…Best is yet to come/ Ohhhhh the best is yet to come”.

-
“Use somebody” performed by Kings of Leon. I also like this song because is totally amazing, is about human needs, is not about body
pleasures, but is about the soul needs:”Use somebody…somebody like you.”
