Weddings are supposed to be once in a lifetime, so do everything to make it memorable. It is well-known that the bride is the main attraction of a wedding and everybody waits to see her.
It’s your chance to shine. Many modern brides don’t want to choose classic or instrumental songs to walk down the aisle. If you’re one of them, here are some modern song suggestions for walking down the aisle.
You and Me by Lifehouse
This is a modern rock wedding song that can be a good option for brides to walk down the aisle to. The melody is slow and the lyrics describe the way you will feel when walking toward your groom: “And it’s you and me and all of the people/ and I don’t know why, I can’t keep my eyes off of you.” It’s a beautiful option for a non-traditional wedding march song.

A Moment Like This by Kelly Clarkson
This song has a slow melody and beautiful vocals. The lyrics are nice: “Oh, I can’t believe it’s happening to me/ Some people wait a lifetime for a moment like this.” This surely describes the way that you will feel when walking down the aisle.
Kiss Me by Sixpence None the Richer
This is undoubtedly one of the best songs of the ’90s. It can be a perfect choice for an outdoor wedding. Get to your groom, say the vows and then share your first kiss as a married couple.
Only Hope by Switchfoot

Mandy Moore used this song when she walked down the aisle in the movie “A Walk to Remember.” Only Hope is also a Christian song, so most of the churches may allow it.
I Do Cherish You by 98 Degrees
This sounds like it was written for a bride to walk down the aisle. The song has also been covered by the country singer Mark Willis. Both versions of this song have a beautiful melody and can be a modern bridal march song.
Footprints in the Sand by Leona Lewis
This is an R&B love song with a beautiful melody to walk down the aisle to. The lyrics are about that special someone who has always been there for you. This wedding song can also be great for a father-daughter dance.
Back at One by Brian McKnight
This is another popular R&B song, perfect to walk down the aisle to. The song has a beautiful melody and appropriate lyrics for walking down the aisle. “Never Felt This Way” or “Love of My Life” are other two beautiful songs by McKnight to consider.
These are just a few beautiful songs appropriate for your walk down the aisle. You may want to discuss with the priest first in order to be sure that your song is allowed. You don’t want to have a bad surprise that will ruin your big entrance.
I think Shania Twian’s From This Moment On should definitely be on here!
