Old and new songs for a wedding

During time, lots of artists tried to enchant our senses with their beautiful voices, with their marvelous songs and we must admit that some melodies still are considered eternal even that they were sang for the first time now more than thirty years ago. Nowadays, we are the witnesses of a “talent explosion” as I like to name all the new bands, girls and boys which suddenly discover their talent in signing. Again, we must to admit that many new songs are truly incredible, very beautiful and touching.

Because every love story must have its own soundtrack, I thought to share with you through this article the most beautiful old and new songs for a wedding which will transform your big day in a fairytale. I took my time and I selected for you wonderful songs which were created now lots of years ago, but still their charm fights against time and musical tastes. Some songs I dare and I name them universal; I am talking about those songs which are loved by rappers, by rockers, by hippie or Bohemian women. Maybe because these songs are masterpiece and a masterpiece has an undefined value.

No matter if you opted for a personalized wedding and the music plays an important role, I still recommend you to incorporate as many musical genres as possible because this is how you’ll know you achieve in accomplishing every guest musical taste. Now, I’d like to suggest you some incredible old and new songs for a wedding, which “accidently” are my favorite ones.

Between the old songs that give me goose bumps, I must include the following gold hits: “By my side” performed by INXS, “A woman’s heart” performed by Chris de Burgh, “My sweet ‘60” performed by Billy Idol, “Streets of Philadelphia” performed by Bruce Springsteen, “Beautiful girl” performed by INXS, “What a wonderful world” performed by Louis Armstrong, “Kingston town” performed by UB40, “Total eclipse of the heart” performed by Bonnie Tyler “The power of love” performed by Jennifer Rush and here it stops my short list with old songs.

But, I made room in this article for some new songs which I totally love and find myself in them: “I’ve got you” performed by Leona Lewis, “I’m yours” performed by Jason Mraz, “All the lovers” performed by Kylie Minogue, “Sway” performed by Mooi, “Beautiful” performed by Mandalay, “All the single ladies” and “Halo” performed by Beyonce. In my opinion, incorporating old and new songs in your personal wedding playlist is a great idea and I hope that my suggestions will help you in creating a great compilation for a diversified and wonderful ambiance!
