Fun wedding dance songs

Some people are very romantic, others are extremely crazy, and some women are playful while others are traditional. Even friendships or relationship can be based exactly on opposites. And let’s not forget about the old quote: Opposites attract! If there are so many types of personalities in this world, just imagine how many types of couples are. Some couples are non-traditional, others are calm and peaceful, and others are very oddball. Maybe you’ll ask: “Why did I start talking about how many personalities are in this world?”Well, because the wedding day is the most important event in every person’s life and it should speak volumes about our personalities. That’s also the reason for why many couples opt for the new trendy wedding current: wedding with theme. A wedding with theme is very permissive, allowing you to add your personal touch and impress your guests with your character, to show them your true personality. Don’t be surprised if going at a wedding, you’ll be received with a slow melody while going to another wedding, the newlyweds will greet you with a rock and roll melody. This is their way of telling you: “Well, curtains down please, this is me!”
Usually, the entrance song sets the tone and the mood of the entire wedding party, it’s like a warning addressed to all the guests: “We’ll have lot of fun!” or “We just want to celebrate our love on mellow dances and slow songs!” Fun wedding dance songs are more and more included in wedding play-lists. I don’t say that are more non-traditional couples than traditional because after all, playing some types of musical genres on your wedding doesn’t mean you cross the tradition. You’re just a bit different than other couples. Your first dance song will be a country one while others couples opt for the eternal waltz. As guest, you can just admire them for their courage of showing their real personality.

Nowadays, tradition have changed maybe because of this fast evolution: cocktail instead champagne, court house instead church, your best friend instead priest, beach instead restaurant, rock and roll instead waltz and so on. Naturalness is the best way to have fun and offer to all your guests an unforgettable party, that’s why couples who choose fun wedding dance songs must be appreciated. They want you to have fun, to smile, to rock your body on the dance floor, to leave their party with a wonderful impression. Their wedding means lot of fun and you should have a feast! Avoiding slow or blue melodies and playing just funny songs is a great idea.

As you can see, I truly sustain all the oddball couples and also the evolution, the changes interfered in the normal wedding ritual. Also, I’d like to suggest you few fun wedding dance songs perfect to be included in your authentic wedding play list: “Pina Colada” performed by Rupert Holmes, “I’ve got a feeling” performed by Black Eyed Peas, “Let’s get the party started” or “Funk house” performed by Pink, “Ice ice baby” performed by Vanilla Ice, “In da club” performed by 50 Cent, “Why don’t you love me” or “Crazy in love” performed by Beyonce, “Yeah” performed by Usher, “Don’t stop ‘til you get enough” performed by Michael Jackson, “Rock your body” performed by Justin Timberlake, “Glamorous” performed by Fergie, “Come to me” performed by Koop and “You sexy thing” performed by Hot Chocolate.

If there are some persons who mandatory must come to your wedding, well, is about your friends. In this special day, you must celebrate your love with your dearest persons in the world, to share with them your reasons of happiness and pure joy. You have so many wonderful memories with your friends, so many sleepless nights, so many hours spent speaking at phone and planning a small party and now, the big day comes and all of them will join you! They aren’t just friends; they are already your family.Personally, each time I have a problem, I prefer to call my best friend and speak with her hours and hours trying to find the best solution, instead calling my mom. My friends were close to me each time I was disappointed, I was coping with huge problems; I lost my self esteem and so on. I’m sure you can tell everyone the same story as mine. Who doesn’t have problems? And there is an old quote about friends: “It’s great to have friends when you’re young, but more important is to have them when you’re getting older.
When we’re young, friends are something normal, between other things. Just when we’re old, we understand how much means to have them.” Wedding is the perfect occasion to highlight your friendship. How can you do that? Simply! You can dedicate them a little moment of your wedding reception, you can dedicate them a song and ask them to come on the dance floor, as well you can give them photos with all of you dancing and having fun, some images that they still don’t have. But, because I already start to talk about music, this is the easiest way to highlight the friendship between you and your friends.

There are lots of friends wedding songs which can be included in your wedding playlist and in this article I’d like to suggest you some of them like: “Friends” performed by Elton John, “That’s what friends are for” performed by Dionne Warwick, “We are family” performed by Sister Sledge, “We are the champions” performed by Queen, “You’ve got a friend” performed by James Taylor, “Stand by me” performed by Ben E. King, “Friends” performed by Better Midler, “Thank you for being a friend” performed by Andrew Gold, “Lean on me” performed by Bill Withers, “I’ll be there for you” performed by The Rembrandts, “ With a little help from my friends” performed by Beatles, “Kind and generous” performed by Natalie Merchant. I hope these suggestions of friends wedding songs will help you to emphasize such a powerful relation like friendship.
First wedding dance songs waltz

Nothing remained misunderstood. I know that there are many traditional couples in this world who still agree with the idea of dancing a waltz. Personally, I love waltzes and also I’ll pick a waltz for my wedding first dance. Here, is not only about traditions because you know, traditions as rules are made to be disestablished, but is more about personal musical tastes. The first dance is a wonderful moment of the wedding reception and it must be planned with passion and attention. If you’ll choose a song just because tradition says you must pick that certain song, well, that’s not a fair deal. What will you do? Trying to be happy and even smile although you just wait that song to end? First dance is your moment so take care of it.
But congratulations to all couples that still like dancing waltz. Waltz is a very soft music, with touching rhythm, almost makes me dream and also, is very tender. Seeing two lovers dancing waltz is like somebody screams in my face: “Hey girl! Love exists! Just look”. For me waltz is more than a dance or a musical genre, is acting, expressing your feelings, playing, changing looks, feeling the music, having an elegant posture, being rigid and suddenlyfull of passion and intensity.

Well, dancing waltz requires lot of work, work in what regards the steps you must learn, but also you must have a certain body’s posture, a certain cast and you must take care even in the way you keep your hand on your partner’s shoulder. Yes, this means lot of work, but you won’t learn dancing waltz just for your wedding.
You never know when you’ll have the opportunity to dance waltz once again. In ancient times, the waltz was the society’s dance, played and danced at the famous balls. Yes, for such a wonderful, elegant and classic dance, you should match the wedding ambience with a ball bridal gown. I won’t end my article without suggesting you few first wedding dance songs waltz: “Fascination waltz” performed by F. D. Marchetti, “Marriage of love” performed by Miranda Wong, “Romantic Ave Maria”, Prelude in C composed by J.S. Bach and performed by Miranda Wong, “ Voices of spring” composed by Johann Strauss, “Tiempo de Vals” performed by Chayanne, “Once upon a time in december” performed by Anastasia, “Blue skirt waltz” performed by Lawrence Welk, “Moon river” performed by Perry Como.

I know many couples who disagree with the idea of picking a waltz for their first dance. I cannot name these couples odd balls one, neither non-traditional, but still we must get used with the idea that times had changed, now some old traditions are supplied with new ones. As well, there are lots of different musical genres as there are many types of personalities. The first dance is the most precious moment of the wedding reception and will be an unforgettable memory that’s why is ideal to plan this moment exactly as you’d like.If you disagree with the idea of dancing a waltz and you consider this musical genre quite antiqued, then choose other musical genre, for example, swing, which is a form of jazz including double bass and drums. Groove or drives are attributes of swing songs. Swing is very easy to dance and you don’t need dance lessons with a private teacher so I can say this musical genre is perfect for those who aren’t so talented in dancing waltz or are running out of time for taking dance lessons. Artie Shaw, Benny Goodman, Cab Calloway, Count Basie, Chick Webb, The Dorsey Brothers, Duke Ellington, Glenn Gray, Erskine Hawkins, Fletcher Henderson, Tiny Hill, Earl Hines, Gene Krupa, Glenn Miller, Gloria Parker, Harry James, Louis Prima, Ella Fitzgerald, Louis Jordan, Hal Kemp, Kay Kyser, Buddy Rich, Fred Rich, Jack Teagarden, Les Brown, Charlie Barnet, Fats Waller, Art Tatum were the leaders of the most famous swing bands.

I’d like also to suggest you some first dance wedding songs swing: “Fly me to the moon”, “I’ve got you under my skin” and “The way you look tonight” performed by Frank Sinatra, “Beyond the sea” and “More” performed by Bobby Darin, “Our love is here to stay” performed by Nat King Cole, “Night fever” performed by Bee Gees, “We are family” performed by Sister Sledge, “Cheek to cheek” performed by Tony Bennett, “Our love is here to stay” performed by Billie Holiday, “What a difference a day makes” performed by Gloria Lynne, “What is this thing called love” performed by Artie Shaw and “In the mood” performed by Glenn Miller. Well, these are some first dance wedding songs swing, but as usually, you should take into account your man’s tastes too.
Other small warning for you: better get used with some swing steps and see if you can dance swing in your bridal dress. Many brides-to-be opted for short wedding gowns because they couldn’t dance swing dressed in long dresses or dresses with crinoline. Also, you shoes should be comfortable, that's also the reason for why many brides buy two pairs of shoes for their wedding: a pair with high heels and another with low heels. Don't forget to smile!
Father daughter wedding songs lyrics

Although I remind you in other articles of mine that’s ideal to dissect every unknown melody before including it in your wedding playlist, I like to warn you again that’s very important to match the lyrics of a song with every moment in part. Is ideal to match the songs with your feelings, especially the melodies for important moments such as father daughter dance. This moment is waited by your guests and they pay attention to your way of relieving your feelings, to your dance steps, but also the melody played during your dance is very important. The song’s lyrics must speak volumes about the relationship with your father, that’s the reason for why I suggest you to carefully listen the lyrics of every song. The naturalness must rule in important moments like bride father dance or mother groom dance. There must be a perfect match between the chosen song and your feelings. In this article, I proposed to share with you some wonderful father daughter wedding songs lyrics in the idea that they might help you in picking the perfect song for this precious moment of the wedding party. Here are some suitable songs for father daughter dance: “How you’ve grown” performed by 10, 000 Maniacs and these are some lyrics: “"My, how you've grown."/ I remember that phrase from my childhood days too. / "Just wait and see."/ I remember those words and how they chided me, / when patient was the hardest thing to be.

Because we can't make up for the time that we've lost, / I must let these memories provide./ No little girl can stop her world to wait for me.”, “That’s how strong my love is” performed by Otis Redding and here are the lyrics that touch my heart: “If I was the sun way up there/ I'd go with love most everywhere/ I'll be the moon when the sun goes down/ Just to let you know that I'm still around/ That's how strong my love is, / That's how strong my love is,/ That's how strong my love is, baby, baby/ That's how strong my love is./ I'll be the weeping willow drowning in my tears/ You can go swimming when you're here/ I'll be the rainbow when the sun is gone/ Wrap you in my colors and keep you warm.” Other favorite father daughter wedding songs lyrics are: “Butterfly kisses” performed by Bob Carlisle and here are some profound lyrics: “There's two things I know for sure/ She was sent here from heaven/ And she's daddy's little girl/ As I drop to my knees by her bed at night/ She talks to Jesus and I close my eyes/ And I thank God for all of the joy in my life/ Oh but most of all/ For butterfly kisses after bedtime prayer/ Stickin' little white flowers all up in her hair/ Walk beside the pony daddy it's my first ride/ I know the cake looks funny daddy but I sure tried” and the last song with wonderful lyrics I highly recommend you is “I loved her first” performed by Heartland.
These are the lyrics which give me goosebumps every time I hear them: “But I loved her first and I held her first/ And a place in my heart will always be hers/ From the first breath she breathed/ When she first smiled at me/ I knew the love of a father runs deep/ And I prayed that she'd find you someday/ But its still hard to give her away/ I loved her first/ From the first breath she breathed/ When she first smiled at me/ I knew the love of a father runs deep/ Someday you might know what I'm going through/ When a miracle smiles up at you I loved her first.”
