“Wonderful Tonight” performed by Eric Clapton, “The Wedding Song” performed by Peter, Paul and Mary, “Knights in White Satin” performed by Moody Blues, “I Honestly Love You ” performed by Olivia Newton John, “You Are So Beautiful ” performed by Billy Preston, “Something” performed by George Harrison, “You Shook Me All Night Long” performed by ACDC, “Start Me Up” performed by the Rolling Stones, “Livin’ on a Prayer” performed by Bon Jovi, “Pour Some Sugar on Me” performed by Def Leppard, “Don’t Stop Believin’” performed by Journey, “Jump” performed by Van Halen and my list with rock and roll wedding songs can continue.
Other small problem you must cater for when choosing the rock and roll wedding songs for your party: you must be very carefully what songs you’ll choose to include in your wedding compilation and better cater for my piece of advice: try to avoid as hard as possible the pure rock songs because are too noisy and more disturb the ambiance than prettifying it.
And secondly, it is very possible that just few of your guests to like this musical genre. On the other hand, rock and roll wedding songs are a perfect limit in what regards rock style. Of course, these lines are dedicated to all those who plan a “normal” wedding, not to those who truly plan a rock wedding. (I’m very sure that are lots of couples who opt for such an oddball wedding, especially now that gothic weddings are so in trend- Russian weddings for example).

But rock and roll musical genre and especially some songs present also advantages: they can be played during every part of the wedding, during big entrance too. I know some newlyweds who opt for rock and roll wedding songs even for their first and last dance. And of course, some beautiful eternal rock and roll melodies never hurt the wedding ambiance; on the contrary, they simply jazz it up through their rhythm and also through the dances that usually are “practiced” while rock and roll songs are played. All these being said, I hope you’ll have the patience and the inspiration for choosing amazing funny rock and roll wedding songs!
