The wedding gown is ordered, the groom suit is already bought, and you’ve already received a lot of confirmations for your invitation list. As you may have figured, we are talking about the wedding, one of the steps, that a majority of people go through in life. The wedding is the most precious event in the life of every person and you should take care of all the problems in correct time to avoid stress and misunderstands. Also, my piece of advice is to hire an event planner and ask his counsel about everything that represent a problem for you.
Talking about wedding’s tasks and problems, let me tell you that one of the problems that many grooms-to-be neglect, but they stumble upon later, is the musical program of the evening. You should choose very carefully your songs for wedding because music highlight the moments and offer them a special carriage, a “fragrance” that your guests will appreciate and keep in mind through years.

Besides food and drinks, music is the third aspect you shouldn’t look over. It happened to us many times, to go to different weddings and, even though, the menu was wonderful the music was desirable (in happy cases) or it was a disaster. If you want to make sure that your guests won’t talk bad after the wedding about the DJ, the way he mixed the event’s play list etc…you need to take some early precaution measures. We will consider the version where the DJ will be handling the background music of the party. You will have to deal with the DJ problem even from the moment when you rent the venue. A lot of restaurants come with complete services: saloon, food, sound, lights and DJ. If at a first look most of the services are okay and nothing seems out of order, we recommend you NOT to be 100% sure that the DJ is as good as the rest ( till proven otherwise, of course).

If you already have a chosen DJ that mixes just the way you like, try to have a talk with the venue’s owners and find out if you can renounce at their DJ for the one handpicked by you. The owners will try and convince you that their man is the greatest, and that he knows music and he’s the soul of a party etc.. Don’t have faith in their words till the end and steal some hours from your busy schedule to assist a wedding at which the restaurant’s DJ is mixing. If you don’t like the way he’s handling the musical part of the respective wedding, try and negotiate some more with the owners of the place to switch the DJ.

If neither of the methods works, and you can’t pull it off, I must sadly say you’re going to have to choose another restaurant, with owners that are more open to your suggestions and where you can play your favorite songs for wedding.
