You and your future husband have already seen the movie, you had some laughter going on with the unwinding of the plot and enjoyed as well the soundtrack of the film, soundtrack that contained songs like “The sound of settling” by Death Cab for Cutie; “Love underground” by Robbers on High Street; “Aside” performed by The Weakerthans, “I hope tomorrow is like today” – by Guster, “In the summertime” by Mungo Jerry, “This modern love” by Bloc Party and so on. The idea of the movie appealed to you and you started to see it as the theme of your wedding celebration. You’ve been thinking to add the two characters of groomsmen in the role of the two wedding crashers, trying to put some make up on them in order to look as replicas of John and Jeremy – wearing the same costumes and having their hair done to match the looks of the two male characters.

But next you think of coming up with songs not on the wedding crashers soundtrack, because if you use those specific songs people might get into some ideas, and the surprise of a ‘candid camera’ effect won’t be there any more. But at the same time you need to have funny songs that will enable the two “clowns” to perform their show. Browsing lists of funny or worst wedding songs ever, you find some songs not on the wedding crashers soundtrack, songs that might apply to your staged atmosphere: “Who let the dogs out” – by Baha Men, Vanilla Ice’s “Ice, Ice Baby”, ”Shake Your Booty” by KC & the Sunshine Band, “Taxi” – by Harry Chapin. Some lyrics of these songs are not quite the best choices for a formal wedding, but as long as you decide on the funny note, then almost everything is possible; your guests will understand it and will enjoy the atmosphere at its maximum!
