If you are a future bride or a future groom, congratulations! You are about to take one of the most important steps in your life and I’m sure you want to celebrate properly with the people you love. In order, for that to happen, I’m sure you’ve already started with your wedding preparations. An important matter in the planning process it’s choosing the right music for your event. If you decided to have a traditional wedding, you should check below the top 10 Christian wedding songs.
On top of our list you will find a song called “Love Of My Life”, performed by Jim Brickam in collaboration with Michael W. Smith. This song managed to receive the first place because of its romantic lyrics. Who wouldn’t enjoy dancing on a song that talks about finding the love of your life and how you want to take care of your beloved one and increase your love? The second song you will find on my list it’s called “Unfailing Love” and it’s performed by Jimmy Needham. Maybe you’ve never heard of this artist, but you’ve surly heard of his songs. They are popular among Christian weddings playlists due to their emotional lyrics. The “Unfailing Love” song, also known as “Kelly’s Song” talks about how two people in love can become one and how their lives change after they unite their destinies in front of God. The third position goes to “The Day Befor You” by Matthew West. This song it’s proper for the cocktail hour because it introduces the guests in the love atmosphere, thanks to the lyrics. They say that people should not settle down for less than love and they should keep searching for the right person until they find it.
The next song makes a good choice for the moment when the couple says their vows. Steven Curtis Chapman managed to concentrate in his song “You’ve Got Me” the idea of two lovers staying together trough good and trough bad. The next song it’s called “For you”, it’s performed by Michael W. Smith and it’s composed based on the same idea as the “You’ve Got Me” song it’s. If you want to dance on a song which talks about honesty and true commitment, you should choose “Not Living In The In-Between” by Bebo Norman. If you want to hear a man’s thanks to God for meeting his better half, combined with a soft rhythm, you should pick the “Waltz For Jennifer” song by FFH. I’m sure the name Steve Green rings a bell to you, and his song called “Holding Hangs” it’s definitely something you’ve heard about.
This song it’s great not only for the reception, but for the religious ceremony as well. I will end my top 10 Christian wedding songs list with other two famous names: Ben Utecht and Across the Sky. Their songs called “How Beautiful” and “First Love” should be dedicated by grooms to their brides as a surprise. I’m sure they would be pleased to dance while they’re playing. I believe that every wedding should keep a traditional spirit, by playing some Christian songs to make the delight of the event.
