If there is no music it all gets boring and this is also the case of weddings in the exact measure as it is not just a friends gathering. And even for the religious ceremony some music is welcomed, being the boosting effect for various moments. But several restrictions come as interfering parts between the grooms’ desire and allowed actions.
The wedding ceremony songs are a need in a measure, nut not quite indispensable. And I mention this since the priests will come with strong arguments, making the grooms be either limited in options, reconsider their thoughts, or even to give it all up.
The first thing grooms have to think is the list needed. They need a song for the prelude, the time for all the guests to enter in the church, here including the grooms, parents, groomsmen, bridesmaids. Then it is the bride’s time, the wedding march. Continuing with the order of facts as an optional list the grooms may want some songs for the wedding readings time, for the wedding vows and exchange of rings too. Not ready to finish the list as at the end of the whole event, the exit time has to have as well a suitable song, the recessional music.
After all the above mentioned songs are selected it is time to make it all be on the same page with the requests coming from the priests. It is more like each one’s attitude towards this sacred place, the respect shown towards the divinity. So from start any too loud music is excluded. Also as genres rock is totally out of discussion. And as last warning the wedding ceremony songs may be needed to be not recorded but live performance. Here it depends on the priests’ flexibility but as strict rule this is why the chorus is a must presence.
