The grand entrance shouldn’t necessary include only you both, if you consider the option to add some of your close persons next to you. But maybe the fact that you, bride and groom, step as a married couple alone in the reception hall could be of a better effect compared to the one brought by a little crowd that makes its entrance. If you need a good effect to your entrance you can allow the flower girl to prepare your grand entrance throwing petals of flowers ahead your arrival. In this way everybody will be aware of the fact that you are coming, keeping a moment of silence as a sign of respect for your entrance. Preparing your grand entrance has something to do with staging a theatrical act, if we consider the costumes that you wear, costumes that are for only one night stand performance. That’s precisely this uniqueness of displaying that you have to direct the entrance in a grandiose way while music reveals itself as of huge importance as well.
Music selection is another part of the process of the staging and can be divided in two parts of displaying. The first part that is heard meant to be a background for the moment when guests are entering the reception hall to find their seat and have a drink in waiting for the married couple, this sound needing to stop in order to prepare the music for the grand entrance. This pause is also very carefully measured; it doesn’t have to be too long, because pretty soon the wedding entrance song has to start playing. In this pause you can have a kind of messenger sent out there to announce your arrival; it can be also a minstrel, for instance, to sing the message of your entrance.
And finally for your grand entrance there are lots of options in regard to the wedding entrance songs, among which: ”Love walks in” – performed by Van Halen, ”Lovely day” by Bill Withers, “Praise you” a song by Fatboy Slim that presents a kind of crescendo adequate for the moment of the entrance and which can very well set the tone for the party, another one can be “Celebration” performed by Kool and the Gang, though it is part of oldies it is still considered goldies and has the lyrics appropriate for your occasion.
