Wedding Party Songs
If the restaurant has to be special, well lighted, spacious; the groom’s outfit elegant and the bride’s dress unique and breath-taking, the wedding songs must cater for all tastes. So the wedding reception music menu can include at least five categories of songs: Formal Dance Songs, Specialty Songs, Bouquet and Garter Songs, Ceremony Songs and The Best of.

Each category of songs contains other subcategories. Bridal Party Songs, First Dance Songs, Father Daughter Dance Songs, In-Law Dance Songs and Mother-Son Dance Songs are from the first category of formal dances at a wedding reception. The second category, Specialty Songs, includes theme-music for the wedding reception, such as: Background Dinner Music, Cake Cutting Songs, Dollar Dance Songs, Grand Entrance Songs, Group Line Dance Songs, Last Dance Songs. An important category is the one that contains Bouquet and Garter Songs, like: Bouquet Toss Songs, Garter Removal Songs, Garter Toss Songs and Garter Placement Songs. But an important song category is the one that includes music for the wedding ceremony. This category is also known as Ceremony Songs and has two subcategories: Processional Songs and Recessional Songs. The first subcategory contains music that is played while the bride is led by her father to the altar. This is a catholic tradition, because the orthodox don’t have this custom. The other subcategory of Processional Songs, called Recessional songs, is played after the priest pronounced the bride and groom as husband and wife. This music is played at the end of the religious ceremony when the grooms walk down the aisle, away from the alter. The fifth category of wedding songs is The Best of. This one includes: Best Party Songs – the most popular music, Best 60s Songs, Best 70s Songs, Best 80s Songs, Best 90s Songs, Best 00s Songs, Best Country Songs, Best Dance Songs, Best Disco Songs, Best Instrumental Songs, Best Jazz Songs, Best Oldies Songs, Best Polka Songs, Best R&B Songs, Best Rap Songs, Best Reggae Songs, Best Rock Songs and Best Swing Songs.

These categories can certainly be changed according to the grooms’ tastes and keeping in mind the likes and dislikes of the great majority of the guest. So, when planning a wedding party take good care of all the details and don’t forget the music, it’s an essential item for the success of the event.
