Wedding Songs For Church

Lots of brides-to-be are concerned about the music they should include in their wedding reception play list because the party is the longest part of the wedding. But, as important is also the wedding ceremony. In fact, the wedding ceremony is even more important because through it, you and your groom are revealing your love, your desires and your promises  in front of God, in front of officiant and also in front of your families. Wedding party is just the celebration of your love while the wedding ceremony is the first most important step you can do for growing your love.

Talking about music, nowadays, the churches have approved to play what music you’d like during your own ceremony. Of course, not having really the best from this decision and choosing the right melodies you can have a marvelous ceremony. Also, you must not forget that some of your guests cannot be present at your wedding party. This is other reason for why you should pay some attention when choosing the wedding songs for church. You must leave to all your guests a brilliant impression but also you must be sure that you’ve had the ceremony of your dreams. There are two simple things you should cater for when creating the play list of wedding songs for church.

Firstly, you must think very well at what musical genres you’d like to include in your ceremony play list because if you’ll start in a certain manner, you must continue in the same way for not creating a contrasting effect and secondly, you must cater for all the ceremony parts such as prelude, the processional, the recessional and also, don’t forget about the Unity Ritual such as : Unity Candle, Sand or Water Unity.

-The prelude is the moment when your guests are arriving to the church, are sitting their places while waiting for the marriage to be officiate.

-The processional is the longest moment of the ceremony because it includes more parts such as a prayer, a reading from Bible or Literature, the marriage license which must be signed also by your witnesses, the first kiss as married couple, the Unity ritual (and here you must choose from all the Unity rituals such as Unity candle, Sand or Water Unity), the exchange or rings, the wedding vows, the definition of marriage and the closing which can be highlighted by a poem.

-The recessional is the part when the grooms are walking on the aisle and out of the ceremony location.

As I was invited to many ceremonies, I can tell you that classical music is always the best option of wedding songs for church while love songs are very appreciated for the Unity ritual. Also, if you’d like to hear live music, is ideal to hire a talented choir and ask them to learn your favorite songs or at least, some of your loved burdens.

“Con Te Partiro” by Set Your Wedding to Music, “Four Seasons Winter” by Vivaldi For Your Wedding Ceremony, “Jesu, Joy of Man’s Desiring” by Bach – For Your Wedding Ceremony, “Lasia Ch’io Pianga” by Handel – Wedding Music Central, “Bridal Chorus (Here Comes the Bride…) – Serenade Classical Collection” by T Carter Music, “Trumpet Voluntary” by Clarke – For Your Wedding Ceremony, “Processional & Pre-processional Songs” by  Wedding Music Central, “Ode to Joy” by T Carter Music and “Walk With You” by  Edwin McCan are examples of wedding songs for church that I’ve listened to my best friends weddings. Get inspired from them and have the ceremony of your dreams!
