Wedding Songs For Parents

There are some things you should know about wedding songs for parents. If, unfortunately, the bride has no father, she can dance with an uncle, with her best friend or with her brother. If the groom has no mother, he can dance with an aunt, his sister or his best friend. If somehow, the bride has two fathers (and I mean she consider the stepfather as being her father in the real meaning of the word), she can ask her mother if she can dance with both of them. The same story, if the groom has two mothers and consider the stepmother also a real mother in the real meaning of the word, he can dance with both of them. Also, there are cases when bride and groom choose to dance in the same time, on the same melodies with their parents.

In my opinion, it’s better to create two different moments: mother and son dance and father and daughter dance because they have different meanings. On the other hand, you must choose different songs to express your feelings and also the relationship between you and your parents. The bride has the responsibility of choosing a song for the dance with her father while the groom must take the responsibility on his own of choosing a song for the dance with his mother. Both melodies must speak volumes about the relationship between children and parents.

The songs can be funny, full of cheerful rhythm, but as well they can be romantic, with slow rhythm and heart melting lyrics. The wedding songs for mother and son dance and for father and daughter dance can be like a dedication. The mother can dedicate a song to her son or the son can dedicate a marvelous song to his mother thanking her for all the efforts she made for growing him and also for all her helpful advice. As well, the father can dedicate a song to his daughter or the bride can dedicate a song to her father.

“My Wish” performed by Rascal Flatts; “Ready, Set, Don’t Go” performed by Billy Ray Cyrus feat. Miley Cyrus; “Soul Of My Soul” performed by Michael Bolton; “Stealing Cinderella” performed by Chuck Wicks; “That’s My Job” performed by Conway Twitty; “The Most Beautiful Girl” performed by Charlie Rich; “The Way You Look Tonight” performed by Frank Sinatra; “Then They Do” performed by Trace Adkins; “Through The Years” performed by Kenny Rogers; “Turn Around” performed by Harry Belafonte; “Unforgettable” performed by Nat King Cole & Natalie Cole; “What A Wonderful World” performed by Louis Armstrong; “Wind Beneath My Wings” performed by Bette Midler; “You Are So Beautiful” performed by Joe Cocker; “You Can Let Go” performed by Crystal Shawanda; “Your Joy” performed by Chrisette Michele; “You’re My Best Friend” performed by Queen or “You’ve Got A Friend” performed by James Taylor are just few wedding songs for parents.

Enjoy these unforgettable moments!
