Wedding Songs To Walk Down The Aisle

Weddings are events that from the directing point of view could be seen as big performances with acts that are displayed throughout the entire celebration and the main characters included in the performance are the bride and the groom. Each entrance in the stage of one of them or of them both is planned in such a manner that resembles to a show meant to impress and many times to squeeze a tear out of the guests’ eyes and their sensitive hearts. Weddings are moments that are filled with emotions and many times can even bring back memories that were deep buried into the ashes of our minds, therefore the parts that compose a wedding celebration are granted a lot of importance.

If we try to picture a wedding from its beginning to its end we can see then that the elements that are included in its displaying are supposed to impress, to create a state of mind that rakes over the ashes whether we want it or not. Taking for instance the moment when the groom walks in accompanied by the minister in the ceremony hall we instinctively perceive the state of mind that crosses the groom’s heart, we can see his emotions devastating him, drops of sweat running down his face, and in one moment we leave ourselves carried by his excitement breathing in the same rhythm with his own and waiting anxiously for the bride to step in.

The door opens but here are the mothers coming, then again the door opens and the bridesmaids and groomsmen are stepping in, that you finally think of a large conspiracy working against you, wondering when is the time when the bride will finally honor yourself with her majestic presence?! And every little piece of this performance is perfectly staged in advance in order to make the audience pass through the vast range of feelings before the appearance of the bride is presented to the excited guests. And as in every show all these acts are accompanied by music, by songs that are more or less selected by the main characters allowing them to make their entrance in the style of a grand performance.

Out of all the moments that start a wedding ceremony, the moment of introducing the bride is the one that prepares the guests for the entrance of the bride. Therefore the choice of wedding song to walk down the aisle is sometimes thoroughly considered by the bride long before the day of her wedding takes place. Some of the suggestions are presented by the MC of the place of worship, the music assistant of the minister, he/she having also the possibility to perform live at one of the place’s organ the traditional classical song that introduces the bride at the beginning of the aisle.

Other wedding songs to walk down the aisle can be selected by the bride-to-be and present them to the minister’s approval in case the ceremony is performed inside the place of worship. For a less formal wedding celebration, for instance a wedding organized outdoors, the choices could be the ones to belong to various hits included in the music charts of the moment. Anything works in a casual wedding as long as the bride wants to stage her entrance in a dramatic way, be it in a funny note or in a deeply emotional one.

There’s a really nice new Indie instrumental alternative wedding song called “Walk down the aisle with me” by Hal Sokolow.  The music is ethereal, beautiful and different – great for the prelude, processional, and/or bride entrance. It’s downloadable on amazon dot com and there’s a sample of it on YouTube at this link:    www.youtube.com/watch?v=FJHy09e4J3w
