What songs to play at a wedding?”. This is a question I’ve been waiting for because summer is the wedding season. That’s also the reason for why I decided to write this article in which I’ll do my best to answer at this question. I know that a bride-to-be has lots of tasks to accomplish, even that she may be helped by her future husband, by her family, cogantes, friends, bridesmaids and groomsmen. Usually, because all the brides-to-be have too short time to plan their wedding, they also ask for help from an event planner. But still, they are in the situation of searching wedding songs and creating their own playlist for an unforgettable party. Music is a very important element in our life because it helps us a lot in expressing our feelings. Sometimes we don’t find the correct words to manifest our sentiments, but music speaks volumes about us.

Some songs heal our heart, some songs leads us from one mood to another. Personally, I’m dreaming with open eyes while I’m listening a special song of my heart. The conclusion is that music is truly precious, makes our life to achieve even more veiling, and talking about weddings, the music totally underlines every part of the wedding. For offering a simple, but also a complex answer to the question: “What songs to play at a wedding?”, I won’t fill your mind with thousands of songs titles, but I rather offer you some efficient tips for easing the work in creating your personal wedding compilation.

-In general talking, the wedding is composed from two important parts: religious marriage with its three moments: the prelude, the processional and the recessional and the wedding reception which is also composed from many moments. Among with the mainly moments, you must not forget about rituals such as Unity Candle, Sand or Water Unity. It’s ideal to assort every moment in part with a certain soundtrack. Music can help you a lot in emphasizing some moments of the wedding party such as: first and the last dance, the dance between the newlyweds and their parents, the pretty traditions such as garter removal, bouquet tossing, dollar dance, cutting the wedding cake. You should have the best from music and highlight these amazing moments!

-As every bride-to-be, you also must be tired and worried about many other tasks which still must be accomplished. Thinking at music in these exhausting moments isn’t in your plans. But still, you must decide if you want a band or you’ll opt for recorded music. If you’ll sign a contract with a band, you can ask their opinion regarding what song to play at your wedding. Usually, the event planners have also lots of ideas about what types of songs are played during a wedding.

-And the last thing which is extremely important: try to include in your wedding playlist as many musical genres as possibles. I know that your priority is to choose the songs for the most important moments, but also you must give your best in creating a fancy ambiance and also don’t forget to choose music for dinner, also called background music. The amount of musical genres will help you in obtaining the wedding you were dreaming since you were just a little child.
